Abstract
•Simple hydrothermal process to synthesize a 3D N-doped rGO-siloxene nanocomposite (NGSil) as a Li-ion anode.•The meso-macroporous structure has excellent pseudocapacitive properties.•Capacitive behavior dominating at high scan rates and battery type behavior at low scan rates.•High reversible discharge capacity with excellent coulombic efficiency of 99.5%.
