摘要
Based on its key performance indicators (KPIs), the sixth generation (6G) networks are expected to be quite challenging in terms of security due to the ever-growing demand for virtualization. Therefore, to increase the communication secrecy in a distributed 6G network, we propose an intelligent zero trust framework that protects the radio access network (RAN) from threats. To comply with such a distributed network, the proposed zero trust model accommodates the secrecy modules in different nodes, such as the base station, the core network, and the cloud, to monitor the network while executing a hierarchical and distributed threat detection. Thereby, the distributed modules collaborate to efficiently decide and act against the suspected RAN threats. Our simulation results show that our zero trust framework based on a distributed security modules is robust against the attacks, while exhibiting low detection time and low false positive.
