摘要

The Innsbruck Atmospheric Observatory (IAO) – established in 2017 – allows for the measurement of the turbulent exchange of inert and reactive trace gases 42m above ground level in the central urban environment of Innsbruck. IAO provides the means for a top-down quantification of pollutant emissions studying their main drivers under various meteorological conditions and flow regimes typical for an alpine valley. The complex urban source distribution of reactive trace gases can complicate the comparison with emission inventories. Long datasets are a prerequisite to gather sufficient statistics on the spatiotemporal variation of the emissions. With adequate gap-filling these data provide top-down boundaries for bottom-up emission inventories. This presentation will give an overview on similarities and differences between urban reactive and non-reactive gas fluxes.
