The experimental development and enhancement of ultrasonic welding process specification aimed at delrin materials

This study discusses about the uses of ultrasonic welding(USW) to combine two delrin materials (plastic materials). Specification are divided into two categories. They’re the ones who establish the machine’s startup and operational specifications. The weld strength is heavily influenced by the running specifications. To determine the strength of the weld, several Specifications like time, hold time, delay time were varied during the process. After the process of welding, several tests were carried out on the fused materials to determine the material’s weld strength. The material’s tensile strength improves when the running background were improved. Derlin materials are widely used in Impellers.
