A Broadband Bandpass Wilkinson Power Divider With DC Block Performance

In this letter, a broadband bandpass Wilkinson power divider (WPD) with DC block performance is introduced. The proposed topology could provide in-band equal-ripple performance of S-11, S-22 (S-33) and S-32, three transmission zeros of S-11, S-22 (S-33) and three isolation zeros of S-32 will be realized simultaneously. Owing to the existence of coupled lines and short-circuit stubs, the proposed WPD provides perfect DC isolation. Amplitudes of reflection and isolation are controlled below - 15 dB and - 20 dB, respectively. For verification, a broadband bandpass WPD with DC block performance has been simulated, fabricated, and measured. Measured and simulated results matched reasonably well.
