Predictive Iterative Learning Control for Systems with Unknown Time Delay

The phenomenon of time delay inevitably occurs in many real systems such as motor systems [1], incubation periods of infectious diseases [2], circuit signal systems [3], and urban traffic management systems [3]. In fact, time delay generated by the system will make the controller design very difficult, and hence, it is of practical importance to analyze and compensate the undesirable time delay, expecting a satisfactory control performance.
