摘要
The disruption triggered by digital platforms such as Uber and Airbnb affected previous busi-ness models and traditional working relations. These companies have in common commercial transactions intermediation supported by applications. This article presents an analysis of how the term 'uberization' has been used in recent scientific literature in its different contexts. The paper consists of a Literature Review, covering scientific articles published between 2015 June and 2020 June, available on Brazilian Capes Outlet. Results show that uberization is mainly a critic to the Sharing Economy, considering digital platforms' impact on labour market, enhancing the tendency to deregulate work relations, transforming the employee into an autonomous service provider (microentrepreneur), to establish the workforce accountability at the individual level and to reinforce job insecurity. Nonetheless, control and surveil-lance over the workforce remain under platforms' tutelage.
