On the use of Blockchain Technology in Supply Chains: A brief review

Recently, The application of Blockchain technology in supply chains has drawn more attention from researchers and increased due to its ability to provide transparency, tracking, tracing, security and enhance confidence and trust among the members participating in the supply chain. In this paper, we provide a brief review which focuses on the use of the Blockchain technology to tackle with three challenges which are facing supply chains, namely traceability, trust and digitization. Besides, the paper provides a discussion about some sectors where the Blockchain technology is adopted at an advanced stage.
