Temperature-compensated balloon-like fiber magnetic field sensor with F-P structure based on PDMS

摘要
•A highly sensitive balloon-like fiber interferometer based on Magnetic Fluids (MF) nanomaterial for magnetic field measurement is proposed.•The Fabry-Perot interference (FPI) by filling the SMF after HF acid corrosion with PDMS is proposed to compensate the temperature on the sensing of magnetic field.•The sensitivities of magnetic field and temperature are up to 0.683 nm/mT and 1.559 nm/℃ respectively.•The system has low cost and simple fabrication, which possesses broad application prospects in magnetic field and temperature monitoring.
