140. [11C]Deschloroclozapine is an Improved Pet Radioligand for Quantifying Human Muscarinic Dreadd Expression in Monkey Brain

[11C]deschloroclozapine([11C]DCZ) is a radioligand for Designer Receptors Exclusively Activated by Designer Drugs(DREADDs), which are a chemogenetic tool used to manipulate neuronal activity in vivo. The signal can be quantified by PET imaging which can visualize future research on neuropsychiatric disorders. This study further assesses the higher contrast [11C]DCZ has in comparison to its precursor [11C]clozapine([11C]CLZ).
