摘要
•Financial stability could be promoted by the bipartite credit network restructuring in terms of macro-prudential regulation.•Among the topological properties of credit networks, systemic risk differences are better captured by credit exposures.•The similarity of credits mitigates systemic risk at a low level of diversification, and diversification that reduces similarity helps to mitigate systemic risk.•Increasing the capital buffer while reducing common credits among banks is an effective way to mitigate systemic risk.
