摘要
•Sulfonated alumina membrane was obtained by chemical grafting with organosilanes and oxidation.•The negative charging of the sulfonated ceramic membranes was significantly enhanced.•Flux of Al2O3-SO3H membranes was eight times that of the Al2O3 membranes when filtrating BSA.•Sulfonated alumina membrane exhibited excellent antifouling performance in protein-containing systems.
