Biomedical core–shell micro-nanocrystalline Ti6Al4V5Cu alloy with high fatigue properties

摘要
•The biomedical Ti6Al4V5Cu alloy with a core–shell micro-nanostructure was prepared.•The fatigue limit of the Ti6Al4V5Cu alloy reaches 750 MPa (R = -1, Nf=107), which is 36.3 % higher than the Ti6Al4V alloy.•The core–shell structure of the Ti6Al4V5Cu alloy can inhibit the initiation and propagation of fatigue cracks.
