Suppression of Bioelectrical Noise Signals in Motion State by Low-Cost Micropillar Hydrogel Electrode

摘要
This paper reports a micropillar hydrogel electrode to suppress bioelectrical noise signals in motion state. The hydrogel micropillar arrays with uniform spacing and same morphology are prepared through MEMS technology. The performance of micropillar hydrogel electrode is almost identical to that of the Ag/AgCl wet electrode which is regarded as "gold standard" in clinics. Moreover, compared with the dry electrode, the micropillar electrode shows lower noise signal when subject is talking or moving, making it has great potential to record bioelectrical signals in real scenes.
