摘要

•Cancerous tissue of horn is characterized in myxomatous changes, well, moderately and poorly differentiated squamous cell carcinoma.•Moderately differentiated horn cancer showed upregulation of keratin family and keratin family associated gene.•All histopathologic stages of horn cancer showed down regulation of chemokines and cytokines related genes.•Three genes namely CSTA, PTN, SPP1 were upregulated among all histopathologic stages of horn cancer.
