摘要

•An efficient genetic transformation method has established.•RNA interference vectors targeting the transcription factor MeGI were transformed into the hypocotyles and radicles.•The transformed seedlings exhibited dwarfed adventitious buds and narrower leaves.•Finally, 5 transformed plants were obtained, and the transformation rate was 5%.
