摘要
•An innovative re-centering SMA-ECC based prefabricated beam-column joint with excellent ductility was proposed.•A semi-mechanical sleeve connecter was designed for SMA bar and steel bar connection.•Low reciprocating cyclic loading tests were carried out to investigate the seismic behavior and re-centering mechanism of the joint.•The SMA-ECC prefabricated beam-column joint can undergo large displacement with superior self-centering and energy dissipation capacities.
