摘要
Traditionally, the standard-of-care treatment for metastatic gynecologic cancer has been systemic chemotherapy. The addition of novel targeted agents, such as bevacizumab, have demonstrated improved survival in patients with metastatic gynecologic cancer;1 however, treatment is rarely curative. The role of definitive radiation in the metastatic setting has been investigated in retrospective studies reporting feasibility and improvement in local control after definitive radiation therapy (RT) in patients with stage IVB cervical cancer.
