Blockchain based Energy IoT Data Trusted Collection and Transmission

With continuous upgrading of energy types and information technologies, the energy Internet of Things (IoT) presents a trend of distribution, intelligence and integration, which inevitably generates massive and diverse energy data. These data are dispatched by different parties in the process of generation, transmission, storage and usage. The data also cause a large number of security risks such as data loss, theft, and tampering easily. In this paper, we propose a blockchain-based energy IoT data trusted collection and transmission technology to improve the security and reliability of the energy IoT. We use consortium blockchain technology to achieve energy data management monitoring. To reduce block storage pressure, only energy collection process are recorded in the block, meanwhile the original data are stored off the block. Finally, we build a simulation platform in Python environment to verify the feasibility of our proposed algorithm.
