Assessing the prevalence and risk factors of marijuana use in adults with disabilities

•The current study examined the association of disability status and marijuana use.•Adults with disabilities had a higher prevalence and likelihood of marijuana use.•Adults with cognitive disabilities were at greater risk of marijuana use.•Respondents in states with medical marijuana laws had higher odds of marijuana use.
