Experimental setup for shielding effectiveness measurements of small-sized enclosures

This paper presents the results of creating an experimental setup for shielding effectiveness (SE) measurements of small-sized enclosures. A functional diagram of the setup was developed. A prototype of the setup software and measuring equipment were created. Using the developed experimental setup, test measurements of the SE for a typical rectangular enclosure were performed. It is shown that in the frequency range from 10 MHz to 1 GHz, the frequency dependences of SE obtained using the developed setup, anechoic chamber, analytical and numerical methods, are in good agreement. The average value of the absolute error does not exceed 5.4 dB.
