DEMO Abstract: An UAV-based 3D Spectrum Real-time Mapping System

摘要
Spectrum cartography plays a significant role in spectrum monitoring, management, and security. In this paper, we develop an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) based three-dimensional (3D) spectrum mapping system, where the UAV can autonomously fly following optimized trajectories and capture electromagnetic data of 3D space. By leveraging property of channel model and spatial-temporal correlation of the raw data, we propose a joint data-and-model-driven method to predict, complete, and merge the spectrum data across multiple domains such as time, space and frequency. The reconstructed map is expected to benefit further research in the area of abnormal spectral activity detection, radiation source localization, radio frequency (RF) resource management, etc.
