•A large proportion of post-ALL lymphoid neoplasms are associated with an immunodeficient state precipitated by ALL maintenance therapy.•Treatment strategies for these lymphoid neoplasms are distinct from sporadic NHL because they may respond to reduction of immunosuppression.
