摘要

•Large area of uniform Au hexagonal cone arrays (Au-HCAs) were obtained.•Au-HCAs were obtained by vacuum thermal evaporation technique and electrodeposition growth technology.•FDTD simulation showed that the Au-HCAs structure had more hotspots.•The prepared Au-HCAs exhibited great potential for qualitative and quantitative detection.
