Adaptive fractional-order fault-tolerant sliding mode control scheme of DFIG wind energy conversion system

This article proposes an adaptive fractional-order fault-tolerant sliding mode control scheme for wind energy conversion system based on doubly-fed induction generator to achieve maximum power point tracking fault-tolerant control. An adaptive fault-tolerant sliding mode controller is designed to solve the problem of partial failure of system actuators with bounded unknown continuous disturbances. In the proposed adaptive method, the upper bound of continuous disturbances and actuator failure can be estimated in real time. It is worth mentioning that this article innovatively combines fractional-order calculation theory with adaptive fault-tolerant control, which provides more options for the parameter design of fault-tolerant control. Finally, a numerical example is given to prove the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme.
