摘要

•Difference in corrosion of W-PFMs under/without He+ plasma irradiation was studied.•Charge transfer resistance of irradiated W-PFMs is significantly higher.•No crack damage was found on the surface of irradiated W after 720 h of NSS testing.•The fuzz layer on the W-PFMs surface prevents corrosion of the W matrix.
