•OFI cladodes pyrolysis was performed at 500–600-700 °C and during 30–60-120 min.•Pyrolysis conditions effects on pyrolytic products yield and quality were investigated.•Vyazovkin and FWO models are established for OFI cladodes pyrolysis kinetics study.•The Eα of OFI cladodes are 36.05–224.41 (Vyazovkin) and 47.87–242.36 kJ.mol−1 (FWO)•OFI waste is a promising local biomass for circular economy alternative in Tunisia.
