摘要
In addition to wasting energy, burning flare gases is a threat to the environment and the world. Among the leading producers of greenhouse gases are refineries, oil and gas production units, and thermal power plants, which emit large amounts of toxic gases into the Earth's atmosphere by burning fossil fuels. Among the ways to control greenhouse gases from the perspective of primary energy sources are to reduce the use of fossil fuels and use alternative primary energy sources such as wind, solar, optimizing energy consumption by improving energy production efficiency and reducing energy lost in various energy systems. Flare gases worldwide are burned or collected, the collection methods and purposes of which are different for each country. Flare gases collection methods include transportation lines, electricity generation, natural gas liquefaction, gas liquefaction, collection and injection to increase oil and gas recovery, and combined methods. In this article, a review of the optimal techniques for recovering flare gases energy, classification and transformation of this threat into an opportunity in Iran and the world that have been studied by researchers and methods for recovering energy from flare gases and preventing the burning of these gases from using them have been presented.
