Continuous-Wave Terahertz Holographic Diffraction Tomography Based on Multiple Scattering Forward Model

•The nonlinear inverse scattering algorithm is applied to the terahertz diffraction tomography based on multiple scattering forward model.•A non-split-step and non-paraxial beam propagation method is proposed with higher accuracy then traditional beam propagation method.•The capacity of the nonlinear inverse scattering algorithm to enable sparse angle reconstruction is also demonstrated by reducing the number of rotation angles.
