Research of Attenuation of the Electromagnetic Wave Amplitude by Organic Materials in a Coaxial Cell

Measurements of S-parameters in a coaxial chamber of organic materials and impurities with different chemical compositions were performed. The results of the estimation of attenuation of the electromagnetic wave (EMW) amplitude by organic materials depending on their chemical composition are presented. It is shown that different liquids affect the attenuation of the EMW amplitude of some mixtures more strongly than others. The EMW attenuation is calculated depending on the content of organic materials in a mixture of coal and starch. The effect of temperature on EMW attenuation in a wide frequency range using a coaxial camera is estimated. It is revealed that the electrophysical properties change depending on the temperature. The proposed method demonstrated that a coaxial cell can be used to analyze the attenuation of the EMW amplitude in mixtures based on organic materials. This can be useful for analyzing the electrophysical properties of mixtures including organic components, including under different temperature conditions.
