摘要
Using a 20 GHz repeater-controlled fibre device, we show digitally, using similar auto amplification, the production of ultra-short pulse trains in 1550 nm at ultra-high multiple flow rates. Our approach is based on three consecutive steps. The first is based on the preliminary numerical study of the optimisation of auto-similar amplification in an optical fibre in normal dispersion regime. From this optimised amplifier, the second step is devoted to the temporal compression obtained by a prohibited band fibre that produces the linear compensation of the Similaritons. The pulses obtained reach half-height duration of 221 Fs and high peak power (306.7 W). The last step elaborates the multiplication of the flow of information, using temporal optical multiplexing. With the sequential combination of these three steps, we digitally simulated a source delivering ultra-short pulse trains at ultra-high multiple rates of 40 GHz–2.5 THz.
