Accuracy of MRI derived cerebral aqueduct flow parameters in the diagnosis of idiopathic normal pressure hydrocephalus

•Aqueductal CSF flow can differentiate iNPH from other neurological conditions.•Stroke volumes have generally stronger correlation than velocity parameters.•Peak flow velocity has high specificity and may aid in exclusion of iNPH.•Net caudocranial flow through the aqueduct was not predictive of iNPH status.
