Serving young children with communication disabilities from Latinx backgrounds and their families with equity: Provider perspectives

•SLPs and EI/ECSE specialists were interviewed about serving young Latinx children.•Providers described many challenges and resources to equitable service provision.•Challenges and resources did not vary widely by provider type or practice setting.•Improved training, policy, and research are needed to achieve equity in EI/ECSE.•Providers may benefit by reflecting on their cultures, biases, and systemic racism.
