摘要
•The addition of exogenous iron resolved the unfilling of grains caused by CuO NPs.•Fe(II) reduced Cu accumulation in rice as more iron plaque formed on root surface.•High intensity of Cu was primarily located in the rice hull and embryo.•Positive effect of exogenous iron was mainly due to the Cu(II) reduction by Fe(II).
