摘要
•44 yeast strains were tested against Moniliophthora roreri; Frosty pod rot of cacao.•Six strains totally control M. roreri in vitro.•Seven yeasts were identified by molecular tools and found to belong to two genera.•Antifungal properties involved a combination of mechanisms.•Co-culture and VOCs reduced mycelial growth and spore numbers of M. roreri.
