摘要
Mobile sink improves data delivery performances in resource constraint wireless sensor networks (WSNs), especially in large scale networks. In query-driven data transmission mode, data transmission is provoked only when sensor nodes get query from the sink node. In this way, sensor nodes’ energy conserved. However, in query-driven scenario, data transmission becomes difficult task because sink’s query insertion point and data accumulation point may differ. Thus, to deal with this situation, we proposed query driven backbone based routing protocol (QBR), that construct a virtual backbone structure. Few of the backbone nodes construct a tree structure and these tree nodes save mobile sink location, transmit query to area of interest (AoI) and data to sink. Furthermore, to balance the load of tree nodes, a tree maintenance mechanism is incorporated. Simulation results show that QBR improves the energy consumption and data delivery performances.
