摘要

•Flowering was induced by grafting in sweetpotato.•Anthocyanin content correlated negatively with lightness.•F1 hybrid lines with extremely low percentages of acylated anthocyanins emerged.•F1 lines derived from ‘Purple Sweet Lord’ were likely to be peonidin type.•A cyanidin-type F1 hybrid line with high anthocyanin content was obtained.
