Promoting the performance of electrooxidation-PMS system for degradation of tetracycline by introduction of MnFe2O4/CNT as a third-electrode

摘要
•An electrochemical oxidation (EC)-peroxymonosulfate (PMS) system was constructed.•MnFe2O4/carbon nanotube (CNT) was introduced into the system as a third-electrode.•Tetracycline could be effectively degraded by EC-MnFe2O4/CNT-PMS system.•The possible degradation pathway of tetracycline was presented.•Radicals (SO4·- and ·OH) showed synergistic effect for tetracycline removal.
