Predictive Voltage Control Strategy in Power Grid Simulator for Impedance Measurement of Energy Storage Inverter

Impedance measurement is an important procedure of grid-connected adaptability test for energy storage inverter (ESI) equipment which aims to ensure the small-signal stability of gird-connected system. Power grid simulator (PGS) can be used to implement impedance for ESI. In this paper, a predictive voltage control strategy is proposed for the control of PGS. PGS based on predictive voltage control (PVC-PGS) strategy has low-impedance characteristic which is beneficial for the impedance measurement. In order to research the impedance characteristic of PVC-PGS, the analytical admittance model is established and verified by simulation. Moreover, a simplified admittance model is deduced to furtherly study the mechanism of low-impedance characteristic and its parameter sensitivity.
