摘要
•Two phase change models are assessed with experimental data using OpenFOAM;•The relative error of the simulated bubble volume is less than 5% compared to the experimental data;•The condensation rate is increased by increasing the bubble diameter and subcooled temperature;•The increase of the liquid viscosity reduces the convective heat transfer and condensation rate;•The bubble central break-up increases the effective condensation area and the condensation rate.
