Comparative Analysis on Control Techniques of a PMBLDC Motor at Different Degree of Commutation

摘要
Brushless direct current (BLDC) motors are finding its importance due to its high reliability and performance at a low cost. Selection of type of control and the degree of commutation for the same is an important task when these motors for intended applications with the assumption that the shaft position control system is perfect. So in this paper, a comparative study is done between the trapezoidal and sinusoidal control of BLDC drives and with the conclusion arrived, simulation results at two different degrees of commutation is analyzed.
