Generation of αMHC-EGFP knock-in in human pluripotent stem cell line, SNUe003-A-3 using CRISPR/Cas9-based gene targeting

•An EGFP reporter was introduced into the C-terminus of αMHC in hPSC cells.•The hPSC reporter line showed typical pluripotency characteristics of hESC.•Expression of EGFP reflected the level of αMHC upon cardiac differentiation.•The line is a valuable platform for cardiotoxicity tests and drug screening.
