摘要
In this letter, a double polynomial root finding (2D-root-MUSIC) algorithm is presented for target localization in monostatic FDA-MIMO radar. Specifically, we firstly propose a spectrum reconstruction technique to obtain the independent component of angle and range from the coupled steering vector. With such independence between angle and range, a novel 2D-root-MUSIC divides the matrix-based angle-dependent directional steering into submatrices. Finally, two polynomials are constructed for low-complexity estimates of angle and range, in which range can be automatically paired with angle and all estimates of range can be obtained by parallel computations. Simulation results demonstrate that compared with the traditional search-based algorithms, the proposed 2D-root-MUSIC shows the superiority of both performance and complexity.
