摘要

•The first mitochondrial genome of the carnivorous plant genus Genlisea.•G. tuberosa mitochondrial genome has 36 protein-coding genes, 40 tRNAs, and 4 rRNAs.•The genes are similar to those from other Lentibulariaceae, including the LAGLIDAD endonuclease.•Gene content and organization are similar to other sequenced MT from non-carnivorous species.
