摘要
•Effect of Ti content on PtTi alloy cathode for solid oxide fuel cell is reported.•Co-sputtered PtTi alloy cathode shows optimal performance at Ti 11 at%.•PtTi cathode with Ti 11 at% reduces the activation resistance by 40% compared to Pt.•PtTi cathode with Ti 11 at% improves the thermal stability by 80% compared to Pt.•Excessive Ti in PtTi cathode forms surface TiO2 layer and drops the performance.
