Design and evaluation of closed-loop GMI magnetometer for biomedical applications

Abstract A closed-loop GMI magnetometer system is reported. The model is implemented by using the Matlab Simulink/Simscape libraries. The GMI closed-loop model implementation is detailed and the simulation results of the system's performance are shown. Furthermore, the response of the magnetometer to a synthesized magnetic cardiac signal is investigated. It shows a good performance handling signals with different frequency components.
