摘要
A six-element annular slot radiator (ASR) antenna module is proposed for sub-6 GHz MIMO (multiple input multiple output) mobile applications. The proposed design is comprised of slot elements and micro strip feed lines loaded along the vertical edges of the PCB module. The antenna is loaded with closed square ring de-couplers orthogonally across the slots on the top of substrate. The MIMO antenna covers 4 - 4.4 GHz for -10dB operating band while as 3.9 - 4.6 GHz frequency for -6dB operating band which includes ITU's (international telecommunication unit) n77 (3.3 - 4.2)GHz and n79 (4.4 - 5)GHz frequency bands assigned for sub-6GHz fifth generation (5G) applications. The proposed MIMO antenna is designed to have a better amount of isolation i.e. under -20dB between the elements, low envelope correlation coefficient (ECC) values, realizable gain for MIMO utility and efficient pattern coverage with low specific absorption rate (SAR) effects. The resulting parameters makes the proposed MIMO design a potential candidate for 5G sub-6GHz wireless hand-held mobile applications.
