摘要
•Good intrinsic and mutual stability of SrFe0.75Mo0.25O3-δ and SrCe0.9In0.1O3-δ.•Constructed electrodes show smaller polarization resistance in reducing conditions.•Cell with 20:80 ratio of SCI to SFM max. power density > 30 mW cm−2 at 800 °C.•Electrolyzer mode of PCFCs show lower polarization than fuel cell mode above 500 °C.•Symmetrical design of PCFCs capable for electrolyzer mode operation is feasible.
