•Mono- and multi-drug loaded biodegradable P(L/TMC) coatings have been developed.•Azithromycin, fusidic acid and ciprofloxacin were loaded into the coatings.•Four Staphylococcus strains were used for analysis of eradication properties.•The P(L/TMC) +CFX or FA seems to have the highest antibacterial potential against.
