A highly polarized Yb3+ -doped fiber laser using a 45 degrees tilted fiber Bragg grating (FBG) was demonstrated. This tilted FBG enable s Yb3+ -doped fiber laser generate high degree of polarization (>99.9%) CW lasero utput at 106 8 nm.
